Interesting use of negative space in this sterling cuff bracelet by Modernist Noble (Shirley) Smith. It measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus a 1 1/2" opening. It is 1" wide. Signed as shown. This bracelet is made of light gage silver so could easily be made to fit a smaller or larger wrist. Elegant and clever.

Rare and magnificent silver and natural turquoise hair clip by New York Modernist Art Smith(1917-1982). An African American, he took his inspiration from African tribal art and costume to create "sculpture to wear". Most of his work is in brass and copper. Rare and beautiful hand made sterling and natural turquoise hair clip by Navajo Kenneth Begay. He was one of the benchsmiths for the White Hogan Shop in Arizona from 1946 to 1964 and also worked independently and served as a jewelry instructor. Stunning silver and Number 8 turquoise bracelet. Measuring 5 1/2" around in the inside plus a 1" opening, it is 1 5/8" wide in the center and narrows to 5/8" at the terminals. The magnificent stone itself measures 1 3/8" long and 1 1/8" wide. It is free of chips or cracks. This is a heavy cuff weighing 81 grams. All original, no repairs. A very impressive piece.

Elegant hand made beads in 970 silver by Antonio Pineda. These beads are made by wrapping a string of silver to form a lacy looking hollow sphere. Strung on black velvet, the beads all move, so can be all pushed together or separated for different looks. The tips are solid beads and can be tied to any length desired. Probably from the 50's/60's this necklace measures 15" end to end and the center segment is 2" vertically and 2 1/4' horizontally.
