JESSE MONONGYE (MONONGYA) INLAY BRACELET
$4995

An impeccable, magnificent, sterling and stone inlay bracelet by award winning Navajo/Hopi jeweler Jesse Monongye. His inlay work is considered to be among the finest today and ranges from the use of silver and simply cut stones to extremely intricate pictorials with superb color combinations that are nothing short of amazing. His subject is often the galaxies and heavens. You can read more about this fascinating man in the book JESSE MONONGYA OPAL BEARS AND LAPIS SKIES by Lois Sherr Dubin. This beautiful silver cuff bracelet features inlay of turquoise, malachite, lapis, coral, mother of pearl and onyx. It measures 5 1/8" around in the inside and has a 1 1/4" opening so is 6 3/8" total and is not adjustable. It is 3/8" wide and weighs 49 grams. It is in fine original condition. I purchased this piece directly from the original owner who bought it at the Heard Museum in the 80's. Signed as shown. His pieces are highly sought after and are true treasures.
