Very cool antique Gettysburg souvenir. Very cool paperweight shows a scene from Devils Den which is one of the more interesting parts of the battlefield; A very important piece of turf at the foot of Little Round Top. I am not an expert in paperweights but the maker, A.C. Bosselman and Co of New York seems to have been active around 1910-1915. That is interesting as this souvenir may then have actually been purchased by a veteran. Square shape with 8cm sides and height of about 2.5cm. Very cool ...click for details

Lovely steel Jaeger Zu Pferde pickelhaube. These mounted light infantry were similar to dragoner units and the helmet is patterned after cuirassier spiked helmets. The blued steel is in line with 1915 regulations and this example is made by C.E. Juncker and dated 1916. All metal parts are period and appear to be original to the helmet. Very cool piece of WWI German trench art. This is either a little knife or a letter opener made out of a piece of shrapnel which was easy to find in WWI trenches. This is a cool piece because the ridging and texture of the shell fragment are still in place. The tip is bent up a touch; This may or may not have been intentional but it is an even bend. A little over 18cm long. Very cool item.

Rare knife by desirable maker. WWII era American diver's knife. Scabbard has two clusters of soft dings where it was likely contacting other equipment during use. Handle has one ding besides normal age wear. Cutting edge of blade has a few nicks to go along with general spotting. All of these issues can be seen clearly in photos. Really a nice knife; Has some character with obvious signs of period use. Really a "been there" piece still in collectible condition.

Very clean example. No rust or nicks on blade. Scabbard is in excellent shape with very little wear. Tang is navy proofed with the anchor stamp. Fuchi, tsuba and seppa are all matching and marked with a 5. A nice touch as this indicates all parts have stayed together over time. Not a fancy example but certainly an honest and very clean representative piece.

Well traveled, worn and used army signals visor cap that I just can't bring myself to hate. If you want a cheap one to look good on a shelf this one has a really nice saddle shape. The worst damage is on the top and back as seen in photos. Top liner is missing on the inside.
