Reasonable early SA or NSKK dagger by E Pack. Hard to tell which as scabbard is a repaint. Not good but actually not a bad job. Scabbard ball is a tiny bit indented but not too noticable as it is an even impression instead of a sharp hit. Missing one screw to both top and bottom scabbard fittings (See last two photos). The best Hitler Youth photo album I've ever seen. The kid who owned this book has a distinctive face so it is easy to follow him through the album to the last page where he is wearing his Wehrmacht uniform. Apparantly his HJ upbringing made him tough as he has an infantry assault badge, wound badge and an Iron Cross ribbon in the buttonhole of his early pleeted pocket combat tunic. The quality of the photographs in this album are unbelievable and read like a propaganda book promoting the HJ. ...click for details

I know army officer daggers are about as common as squirrels with fluffy tails but this one stands out far above the pack and if you have even one example in your collection this should be it. The early quality fittings have just the prettiest, even, buttery smooth patina you can imagine. The dark pumpkin colored handle shows no chipping under the knot. Scabbard is undented. Blade is just an absolute screamer with factory fresh darkening to the Original Eickhorn logo. The only aspect I can find ...click for details

Photography is rather easy when there is nothing wrong with an item. Doeskin fabric on this BDM jacket is satin smooth throughout with no damage found. All buttons are the BDM JM type. District triangle is Nord Niedersachsen which is a nice, uncommon one. Easily a 9.5 out of 10 in my opinion. Only negative I can find are that the RZM label inside the jacket is a bit faded (Big deal, right?). Lovely shirt would be hard to upgrade. Belt is shown for display purpose only and is unavailable.

Knowing that not everyone can afford a minty and perfect SS dagger I am offering one that has some condition issues but is real nonetheless and priced very fairly. The blade must have had some rust on it as it as been cleaned very aggressively. While it is now clean the cleaning abrasions are quite visible as well as evidence of where the rust likely was. It is now sort of shiny and "out of focus". The lower crossguard has been heavily polished. The district designation III is visible ...click for details
