| Excellent, early nickel silver Hitler Youth buckle. This high quality example is in fabulous condition with only a few detractions. Thereis a spot of wear and oxidation on the top of the roll bar assembly on the outside (See last photo). Also, for whatever reason the maker mark has been rubbed out on either side of the GES.GESCH. Also of note is that while this is un undoubtable real buckle of top quality, the GES.GESCH. is facing the opposite direction from the norm. I can't recall seeing this on an HJ buckle previously. The finish and detail to the obverse are just beautiful with no rub burns to even the highest points of the bird. Just a lovelt buckle. | |||||||
