From my personal purse collection of 25 years, this is a Victorian Black Velvet purse w/an Ornate Sterling Silver Frame. It is a good size measuring 10" to top of silver bale to bottom of hem excluding strap. The frame is nearly 6 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" wide excluding bale. Huge German glass beaded purse with 800 silver Cherub frame. The size is amazing. It measures 23" from top of chain to bottom of fringe; 13" from clasp of frame to bottom of purse excluding fringe and 9" across the frame. There is a quarter in the photo to help illustrate the scale of this purse. Frame is hallmarked 800 silver content. Condition is very good.
