This 2 3/4 inch Pendant was Hand Wrought Likely from Aluminum Wire and would have had a cord connected to wear as a necklace. Both Alexander Calder and Harry Bertoia are well listed American Artists, Sculptors and Designers who at one point in their careers designed and produced a limited amount of hand made jewelry. I am very excited about this piece. It is a Handmade brass necklace by Seppo Tamminen of Finland from the early 1960s. It reflects time and interest spent in Russia studying ancient jewelry designs. The handwork is evident. It measures 11" from top of collar at clasp to bottom of drops. Across the collar it measures appx 6.5". It is hallmarked Handmade Finland and initials of ST.
