A beautifully decorated scalloped Imari bowl done in underglaze blue ,ironstone red,apricot,with an abundance of gilding.Peony and chrysanthemum on the inside.the outside the same with the addition of four roundels in underglaze blue with stylized bird motifs,complete with gilding on the scalloped rim.Period:19th century.Dia 103/4"wide 3 1/2" high.Signed:blue koransha mark in underglaze blue.Fukagawa.Condition:Very good,some gilding loss and a minute chip to the scalloped rim.
