Fine example of a 19th Century Kutani Jug with cover .Porcelain body,It's finial a little Karako(Child) seated.The main body decorated with cartouche depicting a Hummingbird and Bugs amongst Tropical Flowers,Frogs,Courtesan and Nobles with fine stippling.Reds,Apricot and Gold in abundance companied with Butterflies and Sea birds .Richly decorated with Exotic Flowers.Height 7 inches.This would make an interesting addition to your Kutani collection.
