A splendid example of a Japanese handscroll-shape Kashiki(cake dish) by the Important Artist Studio Makuzu Kozan.This piece is signed and dated,Makuzu 1910.Stoneware with Moriage Peonies ,white slip,underglazed Iron on a beige ground.The underside,sides and foot ring has a brownish dipped underglaze. Dia 8 1/2"(21.5cm)wide 23/4"(7cm)high.Condition:Excellent.
