This is another French majolica plate with the cheery triangular pansy design. It is pictured on page 36 of Pierre Faveton's book "Les Barbotines". The plate is 8 1/4 inches in diameter, has the H. Boulenger marking. The plate has a crack on the edge which is approximately 3/4 inch long but which does not go though to the face of the plate. This crack can be seen on the photo on the lower right corner. Also there is some crazing. The plate is quite a lovely piece. Circa 1900.

A super vintage item for decorating your sand and sea bathroom! The colors of the beach pebbles covering this lovely jardiniere are in stylist gray and beige to rust tones. It was certainly once the centerpiece of a set of three for the mantle. Made in England - most probably by Selvag, although the markings on the bottom are impossible to read - it is in excellent condition except for a bit of damage to the glaze under the base. At the top it is approximately 10" x 4" and the base is ...click for details

This creamy-colored majolica cakestand or cake plate is only 2 ¾ inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The largest flower is edelweiss and the others are alpine blooms as well. This delicate pastel majolica ribbon plate has a washed blue edge which is made up of forget-me-nots. The larger flowers near the center are violets. The plate is 6 5/8 inches in diameter. The edges are smooth and there is little or no crazing, but there are some flea bites on the upper surfaces. Nonetheless these flaws do not detract from the overall appearance. The plate is marked with the V&B marking for Schramberg and 'Made in Germany'. Circa 1910 or earlier.
