| This sheep and cart are another German folk art item from our Werner Brauer Collection. The sheep is on a wooden platform which is 5 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. On his back there is a red felt saddle. From tail to head he is 5 inches long and approximately 4 inches tall. He is made of paper-mâché using an original mold from the early 20th century. His eyes are glass. Mr. Brauer creates and hand-paints all of the items for this collection in his studio in central Germany. The sheep is signed by the artist and dated on the bottom. The egg cart is made of wood painted green and red. The red egg with green interior on top of the cart is made of paper trimmed with white lace-like paper. It can be filled with Easter goodies. | |||||||
