| The bottom rims of the cups, the creamer and the teapot are not glazed. The rims of fine porcelain were often not glazed so that impurities could escape during firing. This striking set is very elegant white porcelain trimmed with hand-painted gold and burgundy accents. The top edges of the teapot and creamer are scalloped. The saucers have flower-like petals. This doll-size set is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks. The painted ornamentation is in wonderful condition as well. The teapot is 3 1/2 inches tall; the creamer 2 inches tall. The cups are 2 inches in diameter at the top and 1 1/2 inches tall. The saucers are 3 3/4 inches in diameter. Circa: 1883-1900. | ||||||||
