| This lovely dinner service was possibly made by Petrus Regout of Maastricht. Some of the pieces have an impressed 'R', but other than this there is no mark on the set which consists of 30 pieces including lids. There are 6 dinner plates 5 3/4" in diameter, 6 dessert plates 5", 6 soup plates 7 1/4" , 1 round serving dish 6 1/2" in diameter and 1/2" deep, 1 oval platter 8" X 5", 1 condiment dish 5 3/4" X 3 1/4", 1 low pedestal bowl 7 3/4" in diameter, 1 large covered tureen 6" tall(including finial), 1 small covered tureen 4 1/2" tall, 1 compote 3 1/4" tall, 1 sauce boat base 7" X 4 1/2" and 1 cake plate with a rim on the bottom 5 1/2" top diameter. The green transfer includes children playing with shovels and buckets; others fishing, playing with dolls, swinging etc. All of the pieces are in very nice condition. The only problem is a bit of crazing. Circa late 1800s early 1900s. | ||||||||||||
