| This creamy-colored majolica cakestand or cake plate is only 2 ¾ inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The largest flower is edelweiss and the others are alpine blooms as well. The creamy white surface, which is covered with tiny floral indentations, shows no crazing. There is one small original flaw on the surface and some flea bites on the rim. There is also one tiny chip on the underside of the stand (visible only when turned over). The V&B marking on the bottom for the factory in Schramberg, Germany is definitely there but barely visible.
