Double box Japanese lacquer bento box set has all kind of fruit designs. Some damage to the inside of the lid.he wood seems to have a cedar smell. Nice patina and Art Deco design. The picture that I used a flash exaggerates the color, but you can see the design better. ca. 1920's 8 inches tall 10 inch square.
This unusual double fish Imari dish has a thin under glaze of Celadon that covers the center surface. The rich Imari blue glaze makes up the fish's heads, fins and tail as well as a delicate cherry blossom decoration on the body of the dish. Underneath are four landscape decorations and a signature on the bottom. 10 inches long 9 inches wide 1 1/2 in height. Good condition . There are a couple of areas where the porcelain is not covered with the glaze. ca 1920
