A nice lithographed tin wind-up car by Marx. The sides of the car are emblazoned with the logo “Safe Driving School”, the hood says “Learn to Drive” and the trunk says “Dual Control Driver Training Car” (sure enough, if you look inside the windows, you can see two steering wheels). The toy is in working condition. Minimal paint loss at the front and back right corners (probably from a parallel parking accident).

Origin: America, ca. 1946. Size: 6-3/4” x 2-3/4”.

A delightful child’s spinning top made of tin with a lithographed scene of an animal parade. A monkey leads a band of a clarinet-playing pig, a sousaphone-playing cat, a trumpet-playing dog, and a drum-playing donkey. The animals appear against a brightly colored striped background. The side is lithographed with Wyandotte’s trademark.

Origin: America, ca. 1930. Condition: surface scratching and a few dents from normal wear; bright coloring; working condition. Size: 5-1/2” diameter.

A nice lithographed tin spinning top toy with a design of children playing with dogs, chicks, rabbits and pigs. The lower sides and the very top are decorated in a patriotic pattern of red, white and blue stripes and stars. The bottom is marked by Ohio Art. Working condition.

Really nice vintage Chein tin spinning top toy colorfully lithographed with circus scenes showing clowns, elephants, ducks and dogs. The wooden handle is push down to engage the spinning mechanism. The top is marked with Chein's logo.

Origin: America, ca. 1940. Condition: very nice, a few thumprint dings, very colorful, minimal paint loss. Size: 7-1/4" diameter; 6-3/4" tall.

Very nice vintage tin child’s sand pail decorated with a patriotic lithograph of an American eagle in red, white and blue. The patriotic theme is unusual. The pail is marked by Ohio Art. Circa 1940s. Wear and rusting from normal use, but no big dings and cracks. The graphics are nice and bright. 6-1/8” high to top rim; 6-1/4” top diameter.
