An outstanding blown glass figural Christmas ornament in the form of a baseball bat with red, white and blue patriotic decoration. The blue field is lightly accented with white dots representing stars.
A wonderful set of three antique German lithographed tin Christmas tree clip-on candle holders. Each is decorated with a slighly different design of a cherubic angel surrounded by boughs of flowers. The colors are quite strong, making this a very pretty set.
Origin: Germany, ca. 1890. Condition: wear consistent with age, nice coloring. Size: 1-3/4" x 1-1/8".
Lovely vintage blown glass Christmas ornament depicting a cornucopia full of bright red roses. The identical ornament is pictured in Johnson, vol. II, p. 111. Germany, circa 1920s. Mint condition. 2-1/2" tall.
Terrific vintage Christmas ornament fashioned from a papier-mache bell turned into a house. A cotton batting Santa Claus with a composition face is attached to the side. Unmarked, but most likely Japanese. Circa 1930. Very good condition, a little of the paint missing from the hanger and some wear to the "feather" trees. 3-1/2" high.
Terrific bisque figurine of Santa Claus of mica-covered skis. He carries a cloth pack of his back. This is really a great piece with nice color. One ski has been broken and reglued. Other than that, he's in superb original condition. Marked "Made In Japan". 2-3/4" tall.
This is the Santa or Jack Frost in a curved pinecone (Type I) ornament. This variation is more uncommon and has more detail than the Type II variation. Excellent paint (except some wear to white beard) and silvering. No chips or cracks. 3-3/4" long.
