$275.00

The simple geometric border and touche foliage decoration would date this 13-1/2 inch diameter charger circa 1930 to 1940. The Bretonne in her best lace cap is finely painted, and as she has no work implements appears in a leisurely pose. The charger is in excellent condition with some light surface scratches, but no chips, cracks, stains or repairs

Both the jar and the lid are in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs, although one of the blue bands shows excess slip from the manufacturing process.

This large (9-1/8 x 5-3/4 inches across the top by 4 inches tall) 19th c. ironstone mold depicts a rabbit with textured fur, scut tail, eyes and all its other parts. It has some condition problems including chips around the bottom rim and a hairline crack within the mold starting in the right ear and continuing into the body, and is offered for sale as found. This is a charming piece, and one of the rarer motifs.
