| Domino Ware was another line from TG Green pottery in England, in the same blue as Cornish Ware and with the white dots (spots) cut back from the blue ground - a costly manufacturing process for a commercial ware. The earliest date of manufacture for Domino Ware was 1933, and the back stamp on these pieces was used until the mid 1960s. The small cups and saucers were intended for after-dinner coffee and would be perfect for espresso. The cup measures two inches in height and about 2-3/4 inches in diameter across the top. The saucer measures 4-1/2 inches in diameter. I have eight sets: the price is for one. Five are in mint condition and three have very minor signs of wear but no chips, cracks or crazing. | ||
