Peasant Art Industry Pitcher with Cover
A substantial piece of Joseph Mrazek P.A.I. pottery, a seven-inch tall covered pitcher, including lid, decorated in brilliant colors in the trademarked motif. Manufactured in Czechoslovakia between 1926 and 1933, the lid has a small chip on the rim, shown in a photo, another small chip on the interior rim that does not show, a tight hairline crack visible on the underside only, and rubbing on the top of the knob. The pitcher is unblemished. Despite these small flaws the set is impressive and decorative.
