| Beautiful, large figure of a young woman carrying a fruit basket. She appears to be running to market, or caught off-guard by a breeze. The figure has many unique elements that point to a Seguso attribution although the piece is unmarked. The flowing dress, and form fitting bodice in sfumato glass, the basket done in textured clear glass with gold powders; the individual pasta glass fruits, the fine attention to details. This piece is lively and fresh! She stands 15 inches (38 cm) Tall, and has no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned, circa late 1940's | ||
