Original ink on paper, 1985/86, by contemporary Michigan/Cranbrook artist, Jon Strand (1948-)(aka Jonny Strange). Strand's use of dots of color invites association with the work of the 19th-century French painter Seurat, who developed the technique of "Pointillism" in 1886. Jon's works have been featured in several exhibitions at The Detroit Institute of Arts as well as other gallery exhibitions. 33 1/4 x 29 1/2. Excellent Condition
