A small or miniature Chinese monochrome vase or possibly a snuff bottle, covered in a beautiful crackled/crazed copper red flambé glaze. The base signed in an underglaze blue four character mark. The foot is rough where it was apparently stuck to the kiln floor during firing. The copper red glaze around the bottom edge of the foot has been ground and the vase leans. A fine matched pair of Japanese cloisonné vases, the scene is of a procession making its way up a snow covered mountain to a castle or shrine/temple. The decoration is beautifully executed in silver wire and wireless techniques, all on a bluish grey ground. Pair Japanese porcelain vases, painted in underglaze blue, probably from the Seto region. The bases are signed in underglaze blue, I did not try to translate the signature, so the artist/shop is unknown. I believe these will probably date to the Taisho period (1912-1926) or slightly earlier into the late Meiji period (1868-1912). A finely made small Chinese robin’s egg glazed vase, encrusted with white porcelain flowering branches and a butterfly. The vase is a little more than 5” ( 13cm) high, the condition is very good, with a few tiny nicks to the petals of one flower - Otherwise no chips, cracks or restoration. A fine & unusual Chinese ceramic Ge-type crackle glazed water dropper in the form of conjoined squash, covered in a luminous egg-yolk transparent yellow glaze, encased in a fine custom fitted box. The piece is approximately 4 ½” high, 5 ¼” long and 2 ½” wide. The condition is excellent without any chips, cracks or restoration. A finely painted Chinese porcelain brush pot, the decoration depicting the ‘Eight Barbarians paying Tribute’(Ba Mang Jin Bao). The base bares an apocryphal overglaze red six character Qianlong mark. The pot dates to the late Republic Period(1912-1949) or early PRC. The piece is 6.7” high(17cm) and 4.75” square(17.2cm). A handsome Japanese Kutani lion dog decorated in a beautiful green celadon like glaze. The lion is approximately 10”(25cm) tall and 9”(23cm) wide. The condition is excellent without chips, cracks or restoration. The lion dates to the 20th century, probably the early Showa period. The bottom has an impressed mark which I think reads “Kutani Hachiman Gama”.

A very nice Charlie(C.C.) Cole(1885-1967) Pottery vase with a well executed red multi-colored drip glaze, probably dating to circa 1940. The size is 5 ½” tall, the condition is very good with no cracks, chips or restoration.
