Rarely does such a fine grade 2000 year old sword appear for sale. This fine museum grade Warring States long sword is the finest from the collection of Chinese swords we have acquired. The wooden scabbard although fused to the iron, remains in remarkable condition, the handle still with remnants of its wooden handle and cloth overlay. Comes with featured display stand. Dating to the Warring States period of China circa 475-221 BC. Measures 98cm length / 16cm height on stand. Ex-private West Australian collection.
