Tell el-Yehudiyeh Ware (also spelt Tell el-Yehudiyah or Tell el-Yahudiyeh, often abbreviated TEY) is a distinctive ceramic ware of the late Middle Bronze Age / Second Intermediate Period. The ware takes its name from its type site at Tell el-Yehudiyeh in the eastern Nile Delta of Egypt, and is also found in a large number of Levantine and Cypriot sites. Obverse: Bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus cross, pallium and colobium, and raising r. hand in benediction; in l. hand, scroll; to l., IC; to r., XC (Jesus Christ). Reverse: Latin cross with X at centre, and globule and two pellets at each extremity; in lower field, on either side, floral ornament; in upper field, on either side, crescent. Sear 1889.Very Fine.

Ancient Byzantine Crucifix with Gothic style and the image of "Christ the Redeemer" c 1200 AD. Nice example of an early Byzantine Christian Cross, dated to around 1200AD. 35mm x 27mm, Bronze, this cross has had it's top loop broken in antiquity, please see the 3rd picture for a close up of the top loop. Also note that at the other three points of the cross loops exist, remarkable indeed.

Ancient Bronze Cosmetic Vial with bronze applicator, 600-400, BC from Jerusalem. Very nice natural green patina. Eye-paint (kohl) was an important cosmetic for the ancient inhabitants of the Holy Land. The application of Kohl was commonly depicted in ancient drawings and wall reliefs.
