BYZANTINE: Anonymous follis, attributed to the reign of Basil II (976-1025 AD). This coin is an example of the follis issued with purely religious motifs, without any reference to rulers. Obverse: Christ facing, wearing nimbus and holding book of Gospels. Reverse: Legend "Jesus Christ, King of Kings" in Greek. No. 1813 Sear Byzantine. Very Fine and excellent example of type.
