Exquisite Japanese antique carved wooden lotus flowers. These beautiful and delicate blossoms date to the Meiji-Period (c.1880), and are in excellent condition for their considerable vintage. Each flower is hand carved, and carefully finished with gold leaf. The set features twin arrangements, with five stems each in various stages of blossom, held in matching brass vases. Antique Japanese Zushi, a miniature home shrine designed to house small Buddhist statues. Early Showa-Period (c. 1930), excellent condition. Crafted from sugi (Japanese Cedar), and keyaki, an indigenous Japanese hardwood. Antique Japanese ranma, carved wooden architectural transom from a Buddhist temple in the Nara region. This ranma is carved from solid Hinoki, or cypress wood, in a swirling motif evoking clouds or waves. The ranma dates to the Taisho-period (1912-1926), and is in fair to good condition for its vintage. It measures approximately 32 inches tall by 43" wide by 3 1/2" thick.

Beautiful antique Japanese Zushi, a small shrine used to house Buddhist worship deities. This item dates to the early Meiji-Period (c.1880), and is constructed from lacquered wood. It contains a statue of Fudo-Myo, flanked by two attendants, Kongara Douji and Seitaka Douji.
