Fine antique Japanese earthenware bowl, in the style of Inuyama-yaki. Late Edo to early Meiji-Period (c.1860), very good condition. Crackled off-white glaze accented with a green and yellow floral motif around the rim and depictions of seven highly detailed figures around the outside, possibly the Seven Lucky God of Japan, or Hichifukujin. The bowl measures 3 1/2" tall, flaring from 3" diameter at the base to 7" at the rim. The artist's stamp is visible on the bottom.
