Antique woven bamboo basket used in ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement and display. This basket dates to the late Meiji-period to early Taisho-period (early 1900's), and features a traditional two gourd, or hyotan design. It is in excellent condition, with extensive burl wood accents.
