Most of the top of this hand carved Chinese table is a glass-covered high relief (1 inch) of Chinese motifs. The top carving is mostly T-fret trellis pattern with floral inserts (peony and lotus). There are 2 borders of lotus scroll on either side of this major panel. The two front drawers have incised bronze bat handles. There are other simple carvings across the front. It is carved of a light brown wood (like fruitwood). It is in excellent condition made in the 1980's.
