An Attractive Pair of Turquoise and Aubergine Glazed Vases. The ovoid body with flaring rim. Kyoto Awaji, Japan Meiji Period. Height; 15.7 cm. Condition; usual glaze fritting to foot. One vase is perfect the other has a glaze frit to the rim with an associated bruise 1.2 cm.

A Pair of Kutani Vases. Each decorated with a scene of a figure and two attendants on a terrace. The reverse with floral panels on a red ground. Nine character mark to base. Meiji period 19/20thC Height; 13.2 cm; Condition; excellent

A Pair of Imari Beakers. Decorated in the typical palette on either side with a large vase of flowers. Japanese C1700-20. Height; 3 1/4" (8.3 cm). Condition; excellent, one beaker with shallow flake in the unglazed foot

An Arita Blue and White Tea Bowl and Saucer. Decorated with a Sage and attendant visiting a Lady, two geese seemingly arguing below them. Arita, Japan C17/18thC. Diameter saucer; 11.6 cm. Condition; tea bowl perfect, some glaze crazing to the saucer

An Unusual Imari Teapot of compressed form with loop handle and upright spout, raised on three short legs. Decorated in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with a peony scroll. Japan 1700/20. Height; 3" (7.5 cm). Condition; shallow chips to end of spout, firing glaze flaw to side (image 3), cover with a 1.5 cm hairline

A Rare Arita Imari Wall pocket. Moulded in the form of a scroll of paper tied with a ribbon. Japan 18thC. Height; 8" (20.2 cm). Condition; long shallow flake to one corner. Kiln grit to top rim

A Finely Decorated Imari Dish. The centre with a basket of flowers on a floral ground. The base with a four character Fuki Chosun mark 'Riches, Honours and Everlasting Youth'. Japan 19thC. Diameter; 31.3 cm. Condition: slight wear to gilding.

A Boxwood Mask Netsuke. As two masks of Okame and Daruma. Japan 19thC. Height: 3.5 cm. Condition: excellent

A Japanese Arita Polychrome Dish. Decorated around the rim with a squirrel among vines growing on a trellis. E18thC. Diameter: 7 3/4" (19.6 cm). Condition: some light wear to enamels.

A Japanese Arita Sweetmeat Set. Consisting of a central octagonal covered bowl with eight covered fan shaped dishes. Decorated with an iron red scroll. Each with a gilt metal knop. Arita E18thC. Diameter: 13 1/2" (34.0 cm ) Condition: six chips to four of the fan shaped bases

An Unusual Japanese Imari Ship Bowl. Decorated in the centre and with a trading vessel below panels of Dragons and Ho Ho Birds. The exterior with the same vessel between European figures. 19thc. Diameter: 24.5 cm. condition: shallow chip to exterior of the foot, and some flakes to the red enamel.

A Set of Five Japanese Hirado Bowls. Each decorated with a single blossom. The shaped indented rim echoed in the decoration. Hirado 19thC. Diameter; 18.0 cm. Condition: four dishes excellent, one dish has a 1.5 cm fine hairline from a small firing fault in the rim

A Satsuma Tokkuri. Of double gourd form very well decorated with flowering Morning Glory. The base with a three character Satsuma mark in green enamel. Japan Meiji. Height: 7" ( 17.7 cm). Condition: excellent
