Denmark, Neolithic / Megalithic Period, 3900 - 3400 BCE. Found in Aarhus, Jutland in 1936, this beautiful carved stone tool is very long and of very beautiful orange - brown stone. Sides are soft for holding and blade remains slightly sharp. 7"L x 3"W. Chipped by nature.

"Huge" just doesn't quite cover this one! A quite exceptional and massive ancient Greek Campanian Oinochoe, Southern Italy, ca 340 BCE. Black-glazed trefoil terracotta jug with the surface now wonderfully iridescent. Deep trefoil spout, small raised foot and twin lugs at the base of the strap handle. Stans just over 14"H and measures 8-1/2" across at widest. Intact and choice!

Decorated with scene of a woman holding large patera in her hands presenting it to an alter, man holding staff confronting. 11-1/4"H. Broken/repaired with part of scene missing, as shown, but still, a nice large example for little money.

Deep-blue faience Eye of Horus amulet with details in black glass, set in modern 14K gold bezel (gold content alone is several hundred $$$). 1-3/8"L x 1"H, intact and choice. Gold is hallmarked, and to my eye, includes a crocodile, which makes me think it was made in Egypt.

Cast bronze chariot fitting of the Greek mythological figure of Perseus holding the recently-slain head of the Gorgon Medusa in his left hand while he holds his sword upright in his right hand. Perseus' hair is windswept back with almost Hellenistic waves and curls. A tunic is draped over his shoulders which is attached by a shield shaped tunic pin over his right shoulder.
