From the Bactrian culture of Afghanistan / Pakistan, ca. 1000 BC. Choice pair of pottery oil lamps, found in Israel, dating to the late Roman, early byzantine Period - Ca 400 to 600 AD. Each mold-made with large central opening, decorated tops and zoomorphic thumb-rests. Measuring 4-1/8" L, each is intact and choice.
