A small and quite exceptional tooth from a Mastodon - Mammut Americanum - and comes from a juvenile. Far more rare than its mammoth counterpart, this tooth dates to the LATE PLEISTOCENE PERIOD: 200,000 - 20,000 years ago - this predates any of the antiquities we have ever carried.
