An ancient perfume oil flask from ancient Greece, Apulia, ca. 350 BC. Done is red-figure, featuring a Lady of Fashion between large volutes, with vertical stripes at neck. 4-1/2"H, repair at neck plus some minor chipping, else very nice.

Northern Peru, Chancay culture, ca 1000 to 1200 AD. Rounded pottery olla decorated in red, black and tan (rare to find from this culture) with alternating bands and two small animal-form lugs to the sides of the rim. 4-3/4"H x 5-3/4"D at widest, tiny probe hole and surace wear as shown, else quite nice.
In a word, spectacular! Pre-Columbian, from Southern Peru, Nazca culture, ca. 0 to 200 AD. Matching pair of wood and shell earspools, together with original pectoral in shell mosaic. Hard to imagine the degree of workmanship found in each of these miniature masterpieces! A pair of ancient Holy Land Herodian lamps, ca 1st century BC. Called such because they were made during the reign of King Herod of Judea (74 to 3 BC), who was put into power by the Romans. Herod has been called Herod the Great, but was more likely a madman known to massacre thousands, including his own family. Simple construction and design, but used by tens of thousands throughout the Holy Land.
An incredible and important work of art! Mayan Territories, Mexico, Campeche, ca. 550 - 950 AD. Carved jade pendant with beautiful open work and incised detailing depicting a profile of a Maya Lord (on left side), upside down, it shows an unbelievable mythological monster head which has perforated holes that had beads attached originally. From ancient Greece, Athens, Ca 4th century BC. In a style called "plastic," due to the realistic molded shapes (not material used in creation), this vessel is in the form of an almond.
