Rare size! Ancient Greek Red Figure Bell Krater, from the Apulian region of southern Italy, ca. middle of 4th century B.C. Blackware pottery, both sides featuring young women (Lady of Fashion portraits), palmettes at sides. Footed base. 4-7/8"H x 5-1/4"W, body intact, both handles repaired (no new clay). PROVENANCE: Ex-private East Coast USA Collection.
