Ancient Pre-Columbian Chancay Cuchimilco from the north coast Peru, ca. 800 - 1200 A.D. Hollow pottery female standing on tall, thick legs with arms/hands extended up. Relief facial and physical details have been decorated with chocolate-brown and red pigment. 10-1/4"H, intact/generally excellent, save bit of surface wear and minor chipping.
