From the Bactrian culture of Afghanistan / Pakistan, ca. 1000 BC. Carved from banded alabaster in circular, slightly conical form with two small lug handles and small rim. 7"W to handles x 5"H, intact and in excellent condition showing great patina (one side shows heavier encrustration from where it was laying down - these are not cracks/repairs).
