Greek Apulian Red Figure Skyphoid Pyxis, 4th Century BC
Decorated on two sides (both lid and vessel) with the profile head of a lady of fashion wearing the saccos headdress separated by palmettes.
The skyphoid pyxis was a very popular cosmetic vase type in the Greek Colony of Sicily.
