This is a wonderfully animated dancing Tibetan figure. Two sided but with mirrored images and two front images. It is a well thought out design. A lion hat on top and Cheshire like lion in his arms. Very nice little sculpture. 18th century. It has been reattached to its lotus base and the sword blade was replaced. Measures 4 inches high not including the sword blade. (10cm)
A finely crafted pair of enameled wine cups dating to the 18th or early 19th century. Delicate artwork depicts auspicious buddhist symbols. Cup measures 1.47 inches high and 2.1 inches in diameter (3.7cm high x 5.38cm dia.), saucers measure 4.5 inches or 11.5cm in diameter. Feel free to ask for more photos.
An Unusual bronze openwork cast bronze rasp. Depicts a dragon atop a mythical animal and a phoenix amid sinuous floral openwork. Eastern Han period. Approximately 7 inches high. See Christies recent sale 2463, New York, lot 1149 for an almost identical piece. Includes a simple black steel stand.
This is a molded Yuan Period lohan seated on a hexagonal base with a lion in his lap. Originally from Anthony Allen. The head was reattached and a hole filled. A photo is provided of the restored parts. Measures 11 cm high or 4.35 inches.
A nice old bamboo dice cup with a black and gold lacquer painting of three boys and lotus pods. Similar to a bitong but with flared top to facilitate throwing dice. 18th/19th century. 4 1/2 inches high, (11.5cm). Has one crack as shown in the photos
