This is an unusual group of 12 jade buttons dating to the 19th century. The group includes two larger buttons, A butterfly and a lotus and then smaller buttons carved as bats. Of the ten smaller buttons, eight are oriented in one direction while two are oriented in the other. Butterfly measures 1 3/4 inches across (4.5cm), Lotus measures 2 inches across (5cm), and the buttons are approximately 1 1/4 inches across (3.2cm).
