Ethnic Chinese, Guangxi province, Yi Man's Robe
This is an unusual man's robe from Guangxi China. It is made with indigo died cotton overlayed with a triangular silk pattern. A pattern made with resist on the sleeves. These were made and used by the Luo people; a small subgroup of the Yi people in Guizhou and Guangxi province. Approximately 100 years old. Some repairs and replacements typical with age.
