| This is an unusual Eastern Han figure from Sichuan. These figures are much more animated than the figures of the Western Han period and often depict musicians and dancers. They are most commonly molded from a red clay, the seam being rubbed over. This particular figure is unusual in its quiet appearance. It is 16 inches high and 4 x 6 inches at the base (40 x 15 x 10cm). | ||
