Blue and white transferware "Lady of the lake" plate by the Staffordshire potterers Thomas and John Carey. Pattern depicts Merlin playing the harp and the Lady of the lake. Mark of Thomas and John Carey with Prince of Wales Feathers. Minor knife scratches. Overall very good condition. 8.75", circa 1835.
