Pair sold for $370 

An interesting blue and white transferware design plate attributed to Herculaneum Pottery, Lancashire (1793-1841). Although unmarked, this pattern has been attributed to Herculaneum by several authors. Overall good condition with minor knife scratches, faint "X" shaped hairline crack on the back that does not appear to go through to the other side, and a very minor back edge chip. Ochre edge. 9.5" diameter, c. 1800.

A rare Minton Majolica Chestnut Warmer with beautiful coloration and in excellent condition. The brass warming box and majolica spoon are missing. Minton date cypher for 1856 impressed on the bottom. 11" X 10", 6.5" high.
