A large "Asiatic Pheasant" pattern platter by Podmore, Walker & Co., Staffordshire 1834-1859. Podmore, Walker & Co. was the originator of this pattern. Wedgewood latter claims to be the originator of this pattern, but that is through the acquisition of this company. A lovely large platter with scalloped border and light blue transfer.
