Blue and white "Colandine" Transferware plate. An unmarked chinoisiere pattern plate. I believe this pattern was produced by South Wales Pottery. When marked, it is usually marked with the pattern name only. Rarely I have seen it impressed with SWP, for South Wales Pottery. Overall excellent condition, with one very minor chip on the edge. 9.25", circa 1840.
