A small and colorful Staffordshire Fisher Girl sitting by a stream with two baskets of fish already caught. How come I never catch fish like that? Overall good condition with some minor firing flaws. 6" high, circa 1870.

A delightfull pair of Staffordshire Poodles with Pups on cobalt bases. Heavier texture on the right hand group, probably signifying the females of the pair. The adult in the left hand group has painted whiskers in the shape of a mustache, signifying the male. Some minor staining and overall crazing, firing crack on bottom of the base in the male group, as well as a few very minor chips on both pieces. Overall good condition, 7" high, circa 1870. A diminutive Staffordshire porcelain King Charles Spaniel. This figurine appears on page 97, color plate 152 in "Dogs in English Porcelain of the 19th Century" by Dennis Rice. Overall good condition with minor paint loss and some small firing cracks. Chips on base edge. Impressed letter "J" on bottom. Overall height 2.75". Circa 1840.

A Staffordshire porcelain figure of a lady warming her hand over a brazier, emblematic of Winter. Possibly a 19th century copy of the 18th century Derby figure of "Winter" from the "Four Seasons" set. Nicely decorated, overall excellent condition. 4.75" high. Late 19th century.

A very nice blue and white transferware platter in the "Wild Rose" pattern made by the short lived pottery of Read, Clementson, and Anderson, Staffordshire in 1836. This pattern gets its name from the border of wild roses. A very popular pattern in the 19th century made at several different potteries. Overall good condition with minor knife scratches and slight staining. Staining shows more in picture of the front than in real life. 15.75" by 12.5" c. 1836.
