A beautiful, well-colored wall bracket by William Brownfield, Staffordshire Potteries (1850-1891). Impressed maker's mark, "Brownfield" and date mark 6/81 for June, 1881. Overall excellent condition, 9.75" high, 9" wide, 7.5" deep.
A lovely, large transferware platter from the "Holy Bible" series by Job and John Jackson, Staffordshire Potteries 1831-1835. Sidon was the capital of Phoenicia in biblical times. It was a major Mediterranean port and a very prosperous city. The platter has a lovely scalloped edge and floral border. "Holy Bible" mark with title, "Sidon", and "Jacksons Warrented" on reverse. Overall very good condition, with minor abrasions on edge and minor knife scratches ...click for details

A colorfull Staffordshire Equestrian. The rider is wearing a cobalt blue jacket with gilt accents and a red cape. Some minor loss to colors and a firing crack between the horse's legs, otherwise good conditon. 7" high, circa 1870.
